Responsibilities

System and Interface Management: You will be responsible for the administration, further development, and connection of our laboratory information system (LIS), middleware, and connected analysis devices.
Databases: You will optimize data structures, administer SQL databases under Linux.
Process Optimization: You will drive the digitalization of our internal laboratory processes – from order entry to digital result transmission.
Support & Problem Solving: As a technical expert in 3rd-level support, you will analyze and resolve complex system errors and serve as the central contact for our specialist departments and external partners.
Quality & Security: You will ensure compliance with IT security standards (DSGVO/KRITIS) and support validations according to ISO 15189.

Requirements

Solid Qualifications: You have completed training as an IT specialist or a degree in computer science; alternatively, you are an IT-affine lateral entrant with a medically technical education (MTA/MTLA) and corresponding additional qualification.
Practical Experience: You have experience in the maintenance of laboratory or hospital information systems (LIS/KIS) and in dealing with medical standards such as LDT or HL7.
Technical Expertise: You are proficient in SQL databases, Linux server environments, and Bash scripting.
Analytical Personality: Your structured approach, analytical thinking, and quality awareness enable you to quickly understand complex technical systems.
Team Player: You enjoy interdisciplinary work and value the exchange within the team to find the best solutions together.
