We are looking for an IT Systems Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in Munich. This role involves active participation in our internal IT transformation, with a mix of project tasks, user support, and mentoring colleagues. You will work closely with colleagues worldwide, so proficiency in English is essential.

Responsibilities

• Network Management: Operate and expand our internal heterogeneous network with separate VLANs, WiFi for over 150 clients, and VPNs.
• System Administration: Manage our Proxmox-Cluster and NetApp-Storage, and the VMs (Linux and Windows) deployed on them.
• System Enhancement: Develop and improve our backup and monitoring systems.
• User Management: Administer user accounts, groups, and permissions in Microsoft Active Directory and Entra ID.
• IT Equipment Support: Provide IT equipment (laptops, mobile phones, etc.) and support for all KINEXON employees.
• Directory Administration: Manage the Active Directory and Entra ID Tenant.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience with Linux, comfortable with command-line operations, and ideally holding a Linux certification (e.g., LPIC, RHCA).
• Languages: Fluent in both German and English, both spoken and written.
• Security Focus: Strong emphasis on security and the ability to implement secure systems.
• Networking Skills: Experience in managing critical network and server infrastructure is advantageous.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in network configuration, routing, firewalls, VPN, and virtualization.
• Scripting: Knowledge of a scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell) is beneficial.
• Cloud Knowledge: Familiarity with Azure and AWS is a plus.
