Match Profiler is an Information Systems consulting firm, working in the national and international market since 1999. We are empowered with multidisciplinary competences and know-how in IT, which allow us to contribute, optimize and move forward with our clients.

We are currently recruiting for integration in our internal team/client, professionals with the following profile:

IT/OT Operations Engineer - IT/OT DevOps Engineer (m/f) – Hybrid (Lisbon, Coimbra or Castelo Branco)

Responsibilities

Design, implement, and manage IT/OT systems and infrastructure.
Ensure the integration and optimization of IT and OT systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations.
Develop and maintain automation scripts for IT infrastructure deployment and containerization.
Monitor and manage cloud infrastructure and managed services, particularly with Amazon AWS.

Requirements

Hard Skills

Ideally, 1-2 years of experience in an IT or OT automation environment.
MBO or HBO education, preferably with a focus in IT.
Proficiency in business English, both written and spoken.
OT Knowledge:
- Basic understanding of OT concepts and protocols (e.g., Modbus, OPC DA/UA, industrial networks).
- Familiarity with the concepts and functions of Process Control Systems, such as SCADA and DCS.
IT Knowledge:
- Basic knowledge of Windows system administration.
- General understanding of infrastructure, including application servers and databases.
- Familiarity with system integration and integration principles using REST APIs, as well as protocols like MQTT and AMQP.
- Understanding of data concepts and structures, such as ISA-88 and JSON.
- Basic programming skills in languages like Node.js, Python, or Java, with a strong desire to develop further.
- Fundamental networking knowledge.
- Experience with cloud infrastructure and managed services, particularly with Amazon AWS.
- Preferably experienced in scripting for IT infrastructure deployment and containerization.
- Basic understanding of data analytics.
- Knowledge of ITIL, Agile, and Scrum methodologies at a conceptual level.
