About the Position
We are seeking a Senior Java Backend Developer with 6-10 years of experience to join our team in Göteborg, Sweden. You will be part of a highly skilled agile DevOps team, focusing on designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining parts of the next-generation cloud backend for our remote functions. Our focus is on the customer-centric functions of the connected experience with your Volvo car.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain parts of the next-generation cloud backend for remote functions.
- Work with modern tools, microservices, and new interesting technologies.
- Collaborate with peers to influence how we work and develop great things.
- Explore other system parts such as mobile applications and embedded systems.
Requirements
- 6-10 years of overall experience.
- At least 6 three years of relevant work experience with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Fluent in Java programming, AWS, and quality focus.
- Fluent in English (verbal and written).
- Comfortable with tools such as Git and Jira.
