Skills and Qualifications

7+ years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Java, Microservices, and Kafka
Java Microservices Back end Developer
Java Spring Boot Microservices with expected knowledge of Kafka, Basic knowledge of Database. Experience with TDD and BDD. Must have experience with one of the clouds (GCP, AWS, or Azure). Also experience with Kubernetes and containers

Responsibilities

Hands-on experience on Spring Boot, Webservices, Microservices, SOAP, and REST
Drive analysis of business requirements, functional requirements, and technical specification documents to design and develop technical solutions that meet business needs
Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and obtain broader buy-in across global stakeholders
Proactively share and report risks, issues, challenges, blockers, and forthcoming tasks with the stakeholders and team
Expertise in leading and managing technical aspects of API framework design and development
Understanding of overall production Incidents / RCA for any feature that is delivered
Working knowledge on --Java, Spring Boot, microservices, AWS design, KAFKA, Kubernetes ECS3, Workflows such as Camunda BPM

Preferred Skills

Experience with microservices architecture
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (Jenkins, GitLab)
Knowledge of Kafka is preferred
