About the Position

Java Backend Developer Job in Rostock

We are seeking a Java Backend Developer to join our team in Rostock, Germany. Develop backends and APIs with the latest technologies.

Responsibilities

• Development of backends and APIs with the latest technologies
• Conception and implementation of software solutions using Azure and/or AWS services
• Consulting our clients on application development projects
• Project collaboration in agile teams as a team member or Scrum Master
• Support in the creation and presentation of architecture and implementation concepts as well as interface designs
• Implementation of Proof of Concepts for new technologies, methods, and tools

Requirements

• Experience in Java, C#, JS programming and good knowledge of container technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience in using AWS and/or Azure services
• Knowledge in the use of API technologies (REST/SOAP API) and in the setup of CI/CD pipelines
• (Economic) Computer Science (university or university of applied sciences degree)
• Up-to-date methods and technologies in software development
• Team spirit for the execution of software projects
• Fluent German and English language skills - other languages are a plus
