About the Position
Java Backend Engineer (AI/LLM Chatbot, Customer Service)

Responsibilities
- Development and implementation of backend services for AI Chatbot products.
- Building large-scale software systems that can impact the daily lives of millions of customers.
- Exploring and integrating LLM applications to improve chatbot performance and user experience.
- Performing underlying infrastructure/architecture performance tuning, online incident troubleshooting, and system refactoring.
- Writing high-quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices.
- Guiding junior engineers’ daily work and sharing knowledge.
Requirements
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- Over 8 years of professional experience in a related field.
- Core Java programming skills and willingness to do hands-on coding are a must.
- Knowledge and experience with Python and familiar with collaborating with algorithm engineers.
- Capable of coping with stress and quickly learning new knowledge.
- Good cross-team communication skills.
- Familiarity with design patterns and system design required to solve common software programming challenges.
Nice to Have
- Knowledge and experience with Chatbot & Customer service is considered a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with LLM usage is considered a plus.
- Knowledge and experience with data jobs like Flink/Spark are considered a plus.
