Responsibilities

As a Java Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Develop, test, and maintain applications written in Java using frameworks like Spring and Hibernate.
• Utilize tools like Maven, databases, version control systems (like Git), and innovative methodologies with agility.
• Use skills of virtualization, containerization, and orchestration using tools like Kubernetes and Docker to design, deploy, and manage cloud-based solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
• Drive innovation and efficiency in cloud environments using analytical and governance skills, problem-solving abilities, and DevOps practices.

Requirements

• Proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience with cloud-based provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Skills in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes...).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools, Infrastructure as a Code, and Agile methodologies.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a relevant equivalent.
• Languages: English (required), French and/or Dutch desirable.
