We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with at least 4 years of experience for a remote role with occasional presence in Budapest.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain high-quality software solutions using Java 11+ (Java EE / Jakarta EE)
- Utilize Git for version control
- Work with SQL and JPA
- Implement solutions using Spring Boot
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
- Very good knowledge of Java 11+ (Java EE / Jakarta EE)
- Proficiency in Git
- Experience with SQL and JPA
- Familiarity with Spring Boot
Nice to Have
- Docker
- Kubernetes
- OpenShift
- Quarkus
- Hibernate
- Experience in agile development of web-based solutions
- English language skills
- Banking domain knowledge
About the Role
Location: Remote (only onboarding and occasional meetings in Budapest); occasional presence at the office in the 5th district (Budapest) required
Duration: 01.06.2026 to 31.12.2026, extension possible
Language: German (nice to have), English (mandatory)
