About the Java / Rust Position in Delft (only 1 day in the office)

As a Backend Engineer, you'll be pivotal in maintaining the high quality of our core product's backend. This platform is an interface that empowers practitioners to aggregate data from diverse sources and collaborate for the clients.

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining high-quality code.
• Maintaining, enhancing, and expanding the backend, utilizing Rust and Java Spring Boot.
• Actively participating in daily stand-ups, supporting team members, and providing updates to internal teams.
• The team consists of 3-4 engineers, emphasizing close collaboration and individual accountability.

Requirements

• Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
• Computer science or technical degree.
• At least two years of senior experience.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Expertise in Java Spring Boot, Rust, and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with React, NodeJS, and Go is a bonus.

• Salary between 4800 - 5600 euro gross a month based on a 40 hours work week.
