About the Position

We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with expertise in Java, Kotlin, and Spring Framework for a remote position in Prague, Czech Republic.

Responsibilities

Design and development of applications on the Java/Kotlin platform
Implementation of changes and development of new functionalities
Analysis and independent problem-solving in applications and systems
Collaboration with analysts, development colleagues, and other stakeholders
Contribution to improving technical solutions and development processes

Requirements

Advanced knowledge of Java and Kotlin
Experience with the Spring Framework
Good knowledge of design patterns and the ability to apply them in practice
Familiarity with SOAP and REST services
Experience with build tools in Java, ORM, and relational databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL)
Knowledge of testing and mocking frameworks
Experience with GitHub, CI/CD, and GitHub Actions
Familiarity with tools like SonarQube or Enterprise Architect
Good knowledge of the IntelliJ IDEA environment and effective work within it
Ability to utilize generative AI in work while understanding its limitations
Independence, attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to follow through on tasks
Good knowledge of English

Nice to Have

Experience with cloud development
Knowledge of containerization and microservices
Experience in a banking or larger corporate environment
