We are seeking a Java Developer for a hybrid role in Prague, Czech Republic. Join our team and contribute to the development and maintenance of shared architectural components within the Java platform, focusing on microservices and cloud-native solutions.

• vývoj a údržba sdílených architektonických komponent v rámci Java platformy používané napříč vývojovými týmy
• návrh a implementace řešení založených na mikroslužbách
• tvorba technických specifikací a dokumentace (např. OpenAPI / Swagger)
• aktivní komunikace s dalšími technickými týmy napříč organizací
• dodržování standardů bezpečnosti, monitoringu a provozní stability
• zapojení do kontejnerizace a orchestrace služeb (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)
• spolupráce probíhá v **hybridním režimu **v poměru alespoň 2 dny týdně v kancelářích v Praze

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services
• Write clean, maintainable code
• Collaborate with frontend team
• Create technical specifications and documentation (e.g., OpenAPI / Swagger)
• Communicate actively with other technical teams across the organization
• Adhere to security, monitoring, and operational stability standards
• Engage in containerization and service orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift)

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in commercial Java development
• Proven experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, or OpenShift)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Active knowledge of English at least at B2 level
• Advanced experience with:
  • Design and development of microservices or service-oriented architecture
  • Development of cloud-native solutions, ideally in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Creation of REST APIs (OpenAPI / Swagger)
• Desirable:
  • Knowledge of gRPC and Protocol Buffers
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Orientation in financial markets (e.g., bonds, stocks, interest rate swaps, futures, options)
