We are currently strengthening the team of one of our clients with the following profile:

Java Developer – Hybrid (Lisbon)

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-load systems
• Write performant code and conduct profiling
• Experience with distributed computing/caching (Oracle Coherence or other DHTs)
• At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years as an IT team lead
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other high-load distributed architectures, Oracle Coherence is desirable
• Experience in agile development methodologies
• Experience in migration/refactoring projects to new rails
• Good university degree in a quantitative subject
• Java core (SE, multi-threading, low latency, and optimization - Mastery
• C# - Practice
• SDLC – Mastery

Requirements

Hard Skills

• Very strong backend skills
• High-load system design experience
• Performant code writing/profiling
• Experience with distributed computing/caching (Oracle Coherence or other DHTs)
• At least 5 years software development experience, with at least 2 years as an IT team lead
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other high-load distributed architectures, Oracle Coherence is desirable
• Experience in agile development methodologies
