About the Position
We're seeking an experienced Java Developer expert in writing scalable, multi-threaded code to join our Investment Bank Project. The project's primary goal is to optimize the end-to-end regulatory reporting process, strengthen data governance, and improve data quality to support the bank's future growth and evolving global regulatory demands.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
- Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
- Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.
Requirements
- 8+ years of overall experience
- Strong Java Developer, expert in writing scalable, multi-threaded code.
- Hands-on experience in Spring Boot, alongside proficiency with ELK stack, cloud/container deployments, and streaming solutions like Kafka.
- Must have experience in working on ClickHouse Database.
- Good understanding of:
- Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers.
- Server connectivity and management.
- Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation).
- Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman).
- Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes.
- Some experience with Cloud (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud, etc.).
