Java Developer with German language skills

About the Position

We are looking for a Java Developer proficient in German for our German client. The aim of the project is the migration and transformation of a legacy software from an HPE NonStop platform with COBOL backend to a future-proof, modern cloud infrastructure using Java and Spring Boot.

Responsibilities

• Participating in the migration of a legacy system from an HPE NonStop platform (COBOL backend) to a modern cloud infrastructure using Java and Spring Boot
• Developing and implementing solutions based on Spring Boot and Hibernate
• Performing integration testing to ensure high-quality delivery of software
• Collaborating with the team using GIT for pull requests, code reviews, and version control

Requirements

• More than 3 years of professional experience as a Java Developer
• German language proficiency at B2 level
• Strong experience with Spring Boot framework
• Solid knowledge of Hibernate
• Proficiency in Integration Testing
• Familiarity with Docker
• Experience with GIT
• Ability to work in a team and effectively communicate ideas
