Responsibilities

As a Senior Java Engineer, you'll play a key role in designing, developing, testing, enhancing, and supporting modern enterprise applications while ensuring security, stability, performance, and operational excellence. Working within an agile environment, you'll collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and platform teams to deliver innovative solutions that drive business value.

• Design, build, and enhance enterprise-grade Java applications.
• Develop and maintain Spring Boot microservices running on Kubernetes/OpenShift platforms.
• Contribute to platform modernization and migration initiatives.
• Build resilient integrations using REST APIs, Kafka, JMS, and messaging technologies.
• Drive test automation and continuous improvement practices.
• Support production environments and incident management processes.
• Enhance platform security, stability, monitoring, and observability.
• Contribute to CI/CD implementation and DevOps best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

Required Experience

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering or application development.
• Strong background in Java application development.
• Experience working in complex enterprise environments.
• Understanding of SDLC, coding standards, and IT risk controls.
• Experience supporting production systems and incident management activities.

• Java and Spring Boot
• Spring Batch
• Microservices and event-driven architectures
• RESTful services and enterprise integrations
• Kafka, JMS, MQ, File Transfer, and S3
• Oracle Database and Hibernate
• Elasticsearch (ELK Stack)
• Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Docker
• Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
• Grafana and Prometheus
• JUnit, Mockito, Selenium, Cucumber, and PACT testing frameworks

Nice to Have

• Experience with additional cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with container orchestration tools (e.g., Helm, Istio)
