About the Position
ING Hubs Poland is hiring!
We are looking for a Java Engineer with expertise in Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT, and Maven to join our IT Engineering team in Katowice, Polska.
Responsibilities
- Analysis and development of new features and maintaining existing ones
- Assist the squad and related squads in required tasks like incident handling, doing checks after changes, etc.
- Fully contribute to improving the squad’s processes whilst also ensuring all mandatory requirements such as IT risk control, change control, etc. are adhered to
- Contribute to improvements and be proactively engaged in the teams Scrum ceremonies
Requirements
- Very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring framework, GIT, and Maven
- Experience with using ELK stack
- Kafka knowledge
- Ability to create and support CI/CD pipeline for your project
- Ability to monitor production system and solve incidents
- Ability to identify problems, analyze key information, and propose the best solutions
- Team player attitude
- Minimum of 3 years of experience on a similar position
Nice to Have
- Code testing skills
- IT Security knowledge
- Agile and DevOps knowledge
Language Proficiency
- English level - min. B2
