About the Position

Seeking a Java Fullstack Developer: Rhino, are you there?

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain fullstack applications using Java, TypeScript, React.js, and Next.js.
• Work with web frameworks such as Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data Flow) or Micronaut.
• Design and implement Microservices, Web Services, and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA).
• Manage API protocols such as REST and GraphQL Federation.
• Utilize cloud and containerization technologies on Azure or AWS, using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Implement monitoring and observability tools such as OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace.
• Handle API management using Apigee.
• Work with MongoDB and MySQL databases.
• Ensure solid testing practices: unit testing, integration testing, and Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Use ALM tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, and NexusPro (or similar).
• Apply Agile practices (Scrum/Kanban, BDD/TDD, CI/CD, DevOps, Pair Programming) and design patterns to build scalable, maintainable solutions.

Requirements

• +7 years of experience as a Java Fullstack Developer, working with the latest Java versions.
• Strong frontend experience with TypeScript, React, and Next.js.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data Flow) or Micronaut.
• Knowledge of Microservices, Web Services, and SOA architectures, and of API protocols such as REST and GraphQL Federation.
• Cloud and containerization experience on Azure or AWS, using Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions.
• Good understanding of monitoring and observability, with tools such as OpenTelemetry or Dynatrace.
• Experience with API management using Apigee.
• Experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases.

• Availability for remote work based in Portugal (candidates should be based in Portugal with Portuguese or EU citizenship, or a valid work permit).
