Java FullStack Developer (React)

About the Position

We are seeking a Java FullStack Developer (React) to join our team in Pune, India. You will be part of the WMPC Core Technology team, working on Core Banking capabilities across WM International locations. Your role will involve developing and maintaining full-stack applications using Java, Spring, and modern web technologies such as React.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain full-stack applications using Java, Spring, and modern web technologies such as React.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs.
• Integrate frontend (React) with backend (Java/Spring).
• Lead UI development and build React-based applications from scratch.
• Experience in building Micro frontends.
• Utilize version control (Git).
• Debug and troubleshoot across the stack.
• Experience working in Copilot is a must.

Requirements

• Must have

  • 7–8 years of experience as a Java Full Stack Developer with expertise in React.
  • Java (Core), Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data/JPA).
  • RESTful API design and development.
  • Hibernate or other ORM frameworks.
  • React.js (including hooks, functional components, state management).
  • JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
  • Experience building Micro frontends.
  • Building a React-based application from scratch.
  • Leading UI development.
  • Integration of frontend (React) with backend (Java/Spring).
  • Version control (Git).
  • SQL and experience with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, Oracle).
  • Debugging and troubleshooting across the stack.
  • Experience working in Copilot is a must.

• Nice to have

  • Microservices architecture.
  • Docker, Kubernetes.
  • CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Ansible).
  • Cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
  • Testing frameworks (JUnit for Java, Jest/React Testing Library for React).
  • Familiarity with design tools (Figma, Sketch).
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG, ARIA).
