Java Game Server Developer

About the Position

We are currently seeking a Java Game Server Developer for our client, an international software company specializing in providing solutions for the gaming industry. This role is based in Kraków, Poland.

Reference Number: DB/Game/1212/17/KRK

Responsibilities

• Development of the server-side components for online games;
• Participation in the creation of new games or adding new functionalities to existing ones;
• Work with technologies such as JPA, EJB, JSF, Rest API, MariaDB/MySQL;
• Collaboration with other team members;
• Creation of necessary technical documentation;

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience working with Java or C#;
• Mathematical and logical skills – probability calculation, statistics, ability to interpret simulation results;
• Higher education in computer science, mathematics, or similar;
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming languages;
• Comfortable working with large codebases (100k+ SLOC);
• Very good knowledge of English;
