Java Software Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Java Software Developer with 3-5 years of experience to join our team in Singapore, specializing in enterprise application development and cloud-native deployment.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Develop and enhance scalable Microservices-based applications and REST APIs.
• Develop responsive frontend applications using Angular and React.
• Work with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript/TypeScript for frontend development.
• Develop and support Micro Frontends (MFE) architecture where applicable.
• Integrate frontend applications with backend Microservices and REST APIs.
• Work with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Git.
• Work with Kafka for event-driven integration and asynchronous communication.
• Work with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Deploy and support applications on AWS and Azure.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, troubleshooting, and production support.
• Participate in Agile development, code reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of working experience
• Hands-on experience in Java development
• Experience with Spring Boot and Microservices architecture
• Experience in REST API development and integration
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with Jenkins and Git and CI/CD practices
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven architectures
• Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB
• Good experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms
• Strong understanding of enterprise application development and SDLC
• Ability to work effectively in an Agile development environment

Nice to Have

• Experience with React
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
• Experience with Micro Frontends (MFE)
• Experience with Node.js, Express.js, or NestJS
• Experience with GraphQL, Redux, or Vue.js
• Experience in financial services / banking projects
• Experience with cloud-native application development and DevOps practices
