We are looking for a Java Software Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland. Employees can work remotely. This is a full-time position.

Project

The aim of the project is to expand a system we’re developing for a company that provides last-mile delivery services. What makes it interesting is the close collaboration with the client, product development in a dynamic environment, the use of AI tools, plenty of conceptual work, modern technologies, and significant opportunities for growth.

Role

As a Java Software Engineer, you will:

Shape requirements with the client as the project evolves.
Turn business needs into technical solutions and implementation plans.
Design, build, and maintain back-end services in a microservices architecture.
Work directly with the client and keep the team in sync.
Make technical decisions on your own and flag risks early.

Requirements

Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot
Practical experience in designing and developing microservices architectures
Good understanding of asynchronous communication, including message queues and event-based messaging
Experience with NoSQL databases and an understanding of eventual consistency
Solid knowledge of designing and developing REST APIs
