We are seeking a Java Spring Boot Developer for a remote role in Portugal, focusing on RDP EPR and PT maintenance and legal changes.

Role Description

Period: 01/06/2026 to 30/06/2026 (will be extended +3 months)
Hours for estimated spend: 160.00
Location: Porto Salvo, Portugal (remote)
Language: English, Portuguese

Project Description

The project “Development & Legal Changes for Responsible Design and Production (RDP)” covers maintenance and legal changes related to Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) and Plastic Taxes (PT). The goal is to provide end-to-end development cycle support for RDP EPR and PT maintenance and legal change requirements. A local consultant with strong Java expertise is preferred.

Responsibilities

Requirements analysis for RDP EPR & PT maintenance and legal changes
Creation of Solution Design Documents (SDD)
Development of solutions for RDP EPR & PT topics
Support of testing activities and implementation of corrections
Ensuring ongoing solution maintenance

Skillset

Strong knowledge of software architecture, lifecycle management, requirements & gap analysis, and solution design
Extensive experience in Java Spring Boot development and SAP HANA SQLScript
Proficiency with tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, SonarQube, IntelliJ IDEA
Knowledge of SAP BTP and AI tools (e.g., Claude Code) is a plus
Strong expertise in RDP & SAP SD/MM processes
Familiarity with SAP internal standards, tools, and processes
LEAN mindset and Scrum/Agile experience

We Expect You to Have

Extensive experience in Java Spring Boot development
Proficiency with SAP HANA SQLScript
Familiarity with SAP BTP and AI tools
Strong expertise in RDP & SAP SD/MM processes
Familiarity with SAP internal standards, tools, and processes
LEAN mindset and Scrum/Agile experience
