Java Support Engineer

As a Java Support Engineer, you'll kick off your professional journey in backend engineering - turning your academic knowledge into hands-on experience in real, international projects. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, support production systems, and gradually grow into a full-fledged Java Engineer in a cloud-native environment.

Expect real-world exposure to modern cloud platforms (Azure-first), professional engineering standards, and a team that genuinely invests in your growth.

Responsibilities

• Jumping straight into real-world projects for international clients, gaining hands-on experience from day one.
• Helping ensure that business applications run smoothly in production environments.
• Assisting in analyzing and solving technical issues, developing your debugging and problem-solving skills in a live setting.
• Gradually taking on more development-related tasks as your experience and confidence grow.
• Collaborating with experienced engineers to learn best practices in backend development and cloud environments.

Requirements

• Currently studying a technical field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related discipline.
• Actively developing skills in Java and Spring Boot - working on your own projects or coursework.
• Solid foundations in SQL and the ability to apply them to real data problems.
• English at B2+ level - our daily working language with international clients and teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious, engaged, and ambitious mindset.
• Readiness to learn independently, ask questions, and grow in a fast-paced professional environment.

Nice to Have

• Any exposure to cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) - even theoretical.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and basic understanding of backend architecture.
• Experience with version control (Git) and collaborative development workflows.
• Basic knowledge of containerization concepts (Docker).
