About the Position

Java Team Lead

We are seeking a Java Team Lead with 3+ years of team lead experience and 10+ years of Java expertise to join our BCM Industry team in Jersey City, US. You will be part of an Agile team focused on designing a modern architecture and delivering a faster, more stable, and scalable solution.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
• Design and develop: Create scalable Java applications.
• Write clean code: Ensure code is testable, maintainable, and follows best practices.
• Participate in architecture: Contribute to technical decisions and code reviews.
• Optimize performance: Enhance application performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with teams: Work closely with product, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Troubleshoot issues: Resolve production issues efficiently.

Requirements

• Team lead experience: 3+ years
• Java experience: 10+ years (Java 11+)
• Strong knowledge of Spring Boot
• Experience with SQL databases
• Familiarity with Kafka or RabbitMQ
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms
• Solid testing skills: JUnit, Mockito
• Ability to mentor others and work in Agile teams

• Languages: English (B2 Upper Intermediate)
