Java (with C#) Developer

About the Position

We are seeking a Java (with C#) Developer to join our multidisciplinary team for developing and maintaining high-quality trading platforms.

Responsibilities

• Work in a multidisciplinary team of Java and C# developers to analyze and develop new functionalities, as well as maintain existing systems.
• Report to the line manager and work on core services, components, feed handlers, libraries, metrics, reporting tools, and front-end applications.
• Ensure the platform is developed and maintained to the highest standards of quality, security, and performance.
• Participate in an agile-based software development lifecycle including technical analysis, documentation, development, testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with the production support team for release and maintenance of the components.
• Work directly with traders and perform L3 support when needed.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of software development experience, with at least 2 years as an IT team lead.
• Experience with electronic trading platforms or other high-load distributed architectures, Oracle Coherence is desirable.
• Experience in agile development methodologies.
• Experience in migration/refactoring projects to new rails.
• Good university degree in a quantitative subject.
• Java core (SE, multi-threading, low latency, and optimization).
• C# - Practice.
• Fluent in English.
