About the Position
Join EPAM Systems as a JavaScript Full Stack Engineer (Node.js & React) to build performance analytics and coaching tools for lodging partners worldwide. Our team focuses on AI-powered performance analytics, multi-property dashboards, and data-driven coaching opportunities. You will work across a stack featuring React micro-frontends, GraphQL federation, event-driven back ends, and generative AI services. We practice AI-first engineering, meaning you will integrate AI coding assistants into your daily workflow to solve complex problems and iterate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Build and enhance performance analytics dashboards to help partners improve business metrics
- Develop clear data visualization components including charts, tables, and bulk action interfaces
- Create scalable, resilient, and performant applications using React, GraphQL, and Node.js
- Participate actively in design sessions to challenge ideas, support peers, and resolve technical roadblocks
- Collaborate with product and project management teams to shape new features
- Integrate AI coding tools into your daily development workflow to accelerate delivery
- Monitor, support, and maintain application performance
- Contribute to the design and implementation of GenAI-powered features
Requirements
- Proficiency in TypeScript and React for dynamic front-end applications
- Experience with GraphQL development including Apollo Client, Apollo Server, and Federation
- Knowledge of Node.js back-end frameworks such as Hapi or Express
- Expertise in data visualization and dashboards with libraries like ECharts or D3
- Familiarity with AI assistance tools for coding and development workflows
- Understanding of web performance optimization techniques and Core Web Vitals
- Background in collaborative Agile or Scrum environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with AWS services such as Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, and SQS
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture, Kafka, and message streaming
- Familiarity with server-side rendering and performance tuning for data-heavy pages
- Exposure to large language model integration or agentic AI patterns
- Experience with observability and monitoring tools like Datadog or Splunk
- Familiarity with monorepo tooling
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines including Spinnaker, GitHub Actions, and Docker
