About the Position

John Muir Health is seeking a General GI physician to join our Bay Area team in Walnut Creek, CA. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a well-respected group of gastroenterologists in an organization with a strong reputation in the community, state, and nation.

Responsibilities

• Join a respected group of general and therapeutic gastroenterologists
• Mix outpatient clinic with endoscopy at our ASC
• Provide periodic hospital coverage with a 1:7 week frequency (traditional position)
• Cover nights only on the weekend for 24 weeks/year (GI hospitalist position)
• Focus on areas such as IBD, motility, hepatology, cancer prevention, and care

Requirements

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Graduate from an accredited school of medicine
• Current CPR and DEA registration
• Unrestricted license to practice in the State of California
• Excellent letters of reference
