About the Position

We’re looking for Android developers, to grow and improve our team.

Responsibilities

• Implement best practices for developing Android applications that target multiple devices and platform versions;
• Have the capacity to keep production app’s code up to date and bug free;
• Do code review to help minimize errors and guarantee code quality;
• Understand the challenges being addressed by the development team and collaborate with them to deliver a valuable technical solution;
• Understand and embrace the 7egend development life cycle;
• Be aware and up to date with the development standards and frameworks;

Requirements

• Degree in software engineering or equivalent;
• 1+ years of experience within mobile development;
• Having experience with Android SDK;
• Strong understanding of Android Studio IDE;
• Strong understanding of support libraries and frameworks;
• Outstanding coding OO programming skills;
• Fluent coding skill in Java;
• Proficient in XML layout building;
• Multi-threaded coding experience;
• Familiarity with REST Web Services and integration;
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, including good technical writing and interpersonal skills;
• Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills, passion for quality and engineering excellence at scale.

Nice to Have

• Fluency in Kotlin (Objective-C and/or Swift highly valuable);
• Understanding of design patterns and architectures (MVP and MVVM preferably);
