Jr. Project Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Jr. Project Developer to join our team at ib vogt, a leading company in the global renewable energy sector. This role will assist the Project Development Team in advancing wind power projects and supporting the global decarbonization of the electricity sector.

In these areas, the company performs all integral services of the value chain from development, financing, and EPC, to O&M and asset management.

Headquartered in Berlin, Germany, ib vogt has established various offices across Europe, Asia Pacific, the Americas, and Africa as part of its presence in over 40 countries. The company works together with numerous partners globally, augmenting its in-house team of over 900 staff. ib vogt has built or has in construction more than 4 GW of PV power plants globally with a project pipeline of more than 60 GWp.

Responsibilities

• Assist in site activities as needed
• Act as overall document controller for the wind team
• Maintain project database for the wind projects
• Conduct required administrative tasks & permitting tasks related to land departments and other government agencies
• Project schedule monitoring and reporting

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience of project management or with Engineering background
• Positive attitude and enthusiasm to learn
• Knowledge of renewable energy technologies, land acquisition and related laws & regulation preferred
• Land/property acquisition / development experiences preferred
• Languages: English is our day-to-day working language
