About the Position
Jr. QA Tester
Amber Studio, located in Manila, Philippines, is seeking a Junior QA Tester to join our dynamic team. As a Jr. QA Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software products by executing test cases and reporting defects.
About the Role
As an entry-level contributor, you will be responsible for:
- Execution of test cases
- Understanding and performing all levels of basic testing (scripted & unscripted tests, bug regression, basic ad-hoc requests) in a timely manner
- Identification and analysis of defects (duplicate search, reproducibility)
- Reporting and documenting defects and issues according to project standards
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle
- Understanding the technical specifications of the product
- Providing Feature specific feedback
- Partnering with other testers to drive QA efforts
- Understanding and following testing direction
- Designing and running test scenarios based on product and hardware knowledge
- Active, thorough, and timely communication of project matters with the team (internal or external)
