About the Position

Junior Account Director

VML is a global creative company that combines brand experience, customer experience, and commerce to create connected brands that drive growth. We are looking for a passionate and strategic Junior Account Director to join our team in Mexico City.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic and trusted link with our clients, ensuring smooth communication and successful campaigns.
• Lead, inspire, and support your team from brief reception to result presentation.
• Manage budgets, ensure project profitability, and meet delivery timelines.
• Identify new business opportunities, proposing fresh and proactive ideas to grow brands.
• Foster a collaborative, empathetic, and positive work environment by interacting with all agency disciplines.

Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in advertising agencies managing high-impact projects (ideal if you have experience as an Account Supervisor or taking your first steps as a Junior Director).
• Education: Degree in Marketing, Communication, Advertising, Business Administration, or related fields.
• Specific Knowledge: Strong proficiency in managing 360 campaigns (ATL, BTL, and Digital), strategic planning, assertive negotiation, problem-solving, and excellent stakeholder relationship management.
• Required Courses: Desirable courses, diplomas, or certifications in Leadership, Project Management, or Digital Marketing Strategies.
• Language: Intermediate English is essential (very important for reading guidelines, creating reports, and maintaining fluid communication in meetings).
