About the Position
Junior Accounts Payable Specialist (Part-time, 24 hours/week)

- Salary: €39,000 - €45,000 per year
As a Junior Accounts Payable Specialist, you will be the backbone of our financial execution across our entities. With a knack for detailed execution and a high sense of urgency, you thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment. This is a critical, hands-on role where your efficiency and precision directly contribute to the company's operational smooth running and compliance.
Responsibilities
- Process incoming invoices: Ensure accurate data entry, matching, and assist with proper general ledger coding under the guidance of the finance team.
- Handle expense reports: Review and process employee expense reports using Payhawk, checking for accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Support reconciliations: Assist the team in reconciling vendor statements and basic Accounts Payable general ledger accounts to ensure data accuracy.
- Assist with month-end close: Support the broader finance team during month-end activities by gathering necessary AP documentation and preparing basic schedules.
- Learn and grow: Actively learn the AP processes and share your ideas for daily workflow improvements with the senior team members.
Requirements
- Relevant background: A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a strong motivation to start your career in finance.
- Entry-level: Experience in an administrative or financial role (a relevant internship absolutely counts!).
- Detail-oriented mindset: A highly accurate and task-driven work ethic. You take pride in doing things correctly and have a keen eye for detail.
- Tech-savviness: You are comfortable working with digital tools and pick up new software easily. Bonus points (but not required) if you have seen tools like NetSuite, Payhawk, Cobase, or Spendesk before - otherwise, we will gladly teach you!
- Team player attitude: A proactive, eager-to-learn mindset with good communication skills to collaborate effectively with the rest of the finance team.

Please note: This is a part-time position (24 hours per week). The listed salary range represents the full-time equivalent (FTE) and will be pro-rated accordingly.
