Junior Ads Specialist

Location: Fully remote in the EMEA region

About the Position

Canonical, a pioneering tech firm at the forefront of open source, is seeking a Junior Ads Specialist to join our Marketing team. This role is pivotal in driving performance marketing and lead generation campaigns. If you are passionate about technology, technology marketing, and the use of technology in marketing, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities

• Support the marketing team in setting up and monitoring paid ads campaigns.
• Monitor the performance and budgets of paid ads across the Marketing team.
• Utilize automation and AI to enhance the performance of paid ads.
• Develop Canonical's adtech stack to industry-leading standards.

Requirements

• Proficiency with ad platforms such as Google, LinkedIn, Meta.
• Familiarity with campaign tracking and analytics tools.
• Experience in driving successful lead generation campaigns.
• Experience with A/B testing and data-driven decision making.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build trusting relationships.
• Proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
• A growth mindset and willingness to take on risks.
• Engagement with the latest trends in marketing technology.
• Willingness to travel up to 4 times a year for internal events.
