Junior Android Developer

About the Position

Starting your career as Junior Android Developer you will be responsible for:

• designing and developing mobile applications related to electronic payments based on the Android platform – your role in the project might vary and depend on your work experience;
• developing software based on client requirements (usually worked out together), defined specifications (e.g. protocols) or our solutions;
• building a part or a complete system (depending on the project) - you will be given a lot of autonomy and trust to decide on many aspects of your work;
• integrating the applications with the server part or other mobile solutions for processing payments for goods or services;
• working with most up-to-date technologies, among others Java, Kotlin, Retrofit RxJava 2, Koin;
• providing the high quality of code;

You will be creating the most innovative applications for payment terminals and thus have a real impact on the future of the industry.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop mobile applications related to electronic payments on the Android platform.
• Develop software based on client requirements, defined specifications, or company solutions.
• Build a part or a complete system, with autonomy to decide on many aspects of the work.
• Integrate applications with server parts or other mobile solutions for payment processing.
• Work with technologies such as Java, Kotlin, Retrofit, RxJava 2, and Koin.
• Ensure high-quality code.

Requirements

• Eager to learn how to build mobile applications for the Android platform.
• Minimum entry-level knowledge of Java or Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Minimum entry-level knowledge of reactive programming (RxJava 2) and network communication (Retrofit).
• High concern for the code quality.
• Good, working knowledge of English – you need to be able to work with technical documents with no difficulties.
• Interest in Fintech and the payment industry.
