About the Position
Role Description
EmbedIT Vietnam is seeking a motivated Junior Business Consultant to support the growth and delivery of our consumer lending platform business across Southeast and South Asia.
This is a client-facing role combining delivery support, business analysis, and consulting support. The successful candidate will work with senior consultants, sales teams, clients, product specialists, and delivery teams to help define and deliver solutions that combine:
- our consumer lending platform
- business consulting services in the consumer lending domain
The role will focus mainly on supporting the business consulting part of delivery, helping clients adopt the platform, improve lending processes, and contribute to better business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery and Consulting Support
- Support business consulting workstreams during implementation and transformation engagements.
- Assist clients and internal teams in documenting business requirements, processes, and operating needs.
- Help analyze current lending operations and identify process gaps or improvement opportunities.
- Support the alignment of business requirements with platform capabilities and delivery priorities.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, process flows, and project documentation.
Pre-Sales and Solution Support
- Support pre-sales activities such as research, meeting preparation, workshop logistics, proposal input, and presentation materials.
- Participate in discovery meetings and workshops to understand client business goals, pain points, and priorities.
- Assist in translating business needs into structured requirements and solution inputs.
- Contribute to high-level solution discussions together with senior consultants and technical teams.
Consumer Lending Domain Development
- Build a working understanding of the main domains of consumer lending, including: loan origination, loan management, collections, risk management, data and reporting analytics, and selected AI use cases.
- Develop the ability to discuss these domains at a basic to intermediate level with support from senior team members.
- Build deeper knowledge in at least one area over time.
- Support the application of industry best practices through platform adoption and process change.
Stakeholder and Team Collaboration
- Work closely with senior consultants, product specialists, and delivery teams on client engagements.
- Support communication between client business teams and internal project teams.
- Participate in workshops and meetings across business and technical audiences.
- Represent the company professionally in client-facing interactions.
Requirements
Must-Have
- 1–3 years of experience in business analysis, consulting, project delivery, or a related role within banking, fintech, or enterprise software
- Interest in consumer lending, digital lending platforms, or financial services transformation
- Basic understanding of business processes and requirements gathering
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work in a structured way and manage multiple tasks
- Fluent English, written and spoken
Preferred
- Exposure to banking, lending, fintech, or consulting environments
- Experience with process documentation, business analysis, or client-facing project work
- Familiarity with areas such as loan origination, collections, risk, reporting, or data
- Experience preparing presentations, requirements documents, or workshop materials
- Experience working in multinational or regional environments
