Here at our Cologne location between Friesenplatz and Mediapark, we are responsible for the CHECK24 mobile comparison and are looking for a new team member (m/w/d) to strengthen our Business Intelligence team. Responsibilities
- Reporting & Visualization: You will independently develop interactive dashboards and reports based on modern Business Intelligence tools such as Apache Superset or Tableau and systematically familiarize yourself with new reporting solutions.
- Product Impact: From data-based analyses, you will derive concrete action recommendations and optimization potentials for the product and coordinate closely with product management, partner management, controlling, and customer advice.
- Consulting & Enablement: As the contact person for analytical questions, you will support and enable our teams in defining suitable key figures and finding solutions.
- Data Architecture: You will design scalable reporting and tracking structures independently of individual tools and thus sustainably promote a data-driven working style.
- Innovation: Together with our Data Science team, you will create innovative, AI-driven features for our customers. You will evaluate new technologies for their added value for Business Intelligence and integrate suitable solutions into existing processes.
Requirements
- Education: A successfully completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Business Informatics, Mathematics, or a comparable quantitatively oriented degree program.
- Professional Experience: You have initial practical experience in the field of Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Tracking, or Data Science, ideally in a digital environment.
- Analytical Competence: Analytical thinking and a confident handling of data-driven issues are among your strengths.
- Hands-On Mentality: You work independently and goal-oriented and implement analytical requirements in a structured and precise manner.
- Technical Know-How: You have solid knowledge in web analytics and data visualization. You have practical experience with databases, especially SQL, ETL pipelines, and development with Python.
- Product Understanding & Curiosity: You have a strong interest in understanding how our product works, how our customers behave, and what factors influence their decisions – you get to the root causes and ask the right questions.
- Language Skills: You have a command of German and English at least at level C1.
