Junior Compliance and Financial Monitoring Officer

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Compliance and Financial Monitoring Officer for full-time work in Dushanbe. The role focuses on financial monitoring and compliance with international standards.

Responsibilities

• Collecting and submitting information to the Financial Monitoring Department regarding mandatory operations.
• Implementing financial monitoring to identify operations related to the legalization of income obtained through criminal activities and the financing of terrorism.
• Identifying and submitting information to the Financial Monitoring Department about suspicious operations and agreements.
• Reviewing and preparing responses to letters of inquiry from authorities.
• Recording suspicious operations and fraud.

Requirements

• Higher education or secondary specialized education in economics or law.
• At least 1 year of work experience in banking.
• Skills in conducting financial monitoring in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan on AML/CFT.
• Ability to clearly and accurately express thoughts in writing and orally.
• Skills in collecting analyzes, evaluating evidence, preparing and submitting written reports.
• Skills in understanding and applying the legislation of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of AML/CFT and managing compliance risks, normative-legal documents of the CFT, international regulations and standards on AML/CFT issues, including FATF recommendations.
