Junior Content Editor

Location: Rome, Italy

Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent

Salary: 25,000-28,000K

Responsibilities

• Support sports betting and commercial content creation for online and retail platforms.
• Gather information and materials for producing sports betting-related content.
• Contribute to the creation of professional content (info snippets, statistics, articles, podcasts, newsletters, etc.) across various platforms.
• Manage multimedia content (videos, photos, infographics, etc.) for editorial and technical purposes.
• Assist in managing editorial partnerships (e.g., OPTA by Stats Perform, AFW, external suppliers).
• Support internal communication management (HR content on Videowall HQ, EUROBET corporate site, Entain Media Centre productions).
• Update sections of company websites, intranet, and social media.
• Research and identify industry trends and innovations.
• Develop editorial proposals and formats for product and offer communication across company platforms.

Requirements

• Passion for sports (especially football, both Italian and international) and communication.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Fluency in Italian and good command of English.
• Organizational skills and proactive attitude.
• Strong teamwork and communication abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Word.
• Knowledge of CMS for content uploading.
• Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Basic understanding of SEO.
• Experience in editorial or web editing for sports or digital magazines is a plus.
• Experience in radio or TV editorial roles is a plus.
• Basic knowledge of sports betting and gaming dynamics.
• Amateur video making or basic knowledge of video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere).
• Basic knowledge of page layout programs (e.g., QuarkXpress, InDesign).
