About the Position

Junior Content Editor

Location: Rome, Italy

Work Mode: Hybrid

Salary: €25.000K - €28.000K per year

We are seeking a Junior Content Editor to join our dynamic Marketing team in Rome, Italy. You'll create and manage content for online and retail platforms, focusing on sports betting and gaming.

Responsibilities

• Support the design and management of editorial plans for online and retail content.
• Gather information and materials for producing and publishing sports betting-related content.
• Contribute to the creation of professional content (informative snippets, statistics, articles, podcasts, newsletters, etc.) across various platforms.
• Manage multimedia content (videos, photos, infographics, etc.) from an editorial and technical perspective.
• Support the management of editorial partnerships (e.g., OPTA by Stats Perform, AFW, external suppliers, etc.).
• Assist in managing internal communication (HR content on Videowall HQ, EUROBET corporate website, audio/video productions in the Entain Media Centre).
• Update sections of company websites and intranets and/or social media.
• Identify, study, and select the main industry news.
• Develop editorial proposals and formats focused on product and offer news across various company platforms.

Requirements

• Passion for sports (especially football, both Italian and international) and communication.
• Excellent writing skills.
• Excellent vocabulary and ease in front of microphones and cameras.
• Strong organizational skills and proactivity in autonomous work.
• Strong interpersonal skills for teamwork.
• Proficiency in Word and the Office environment.
• Knowledge of CMS for content uploading.
• Experience with WordPress or similar content management systems.
• Basic knowledge of SEO dynamics.
• Good knowledge of the English language.
• Full-time availability with flexible hours (MON-SUN).

Nice to Have

• Editorial or web editing experience for sports or non-sports magazines/digital media.
• Editorial or direct experience in radio and/or TV audio/video.
• Basic knowledge of sports betting and gaming dynamics.
• Amateur video making or basic knowledge of video editing programs.
• Basic knowledge of video editing programs like Adobe Premiere or similar.
• Basic knowledge of layout programs like QuarkXpress or InDesign.
