Junior data scientist

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Data Scientist with a Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience in implementing data science and computer vision projects. The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills and a solid understanding of machine learning and computer vision.

Responsibilities

• Implement data science and computer vision projects
• Utilize Python for developing solutions
• Apply knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures
• Work with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, and ScikitLearn
• Use OpenCV for computer vision tasks
• Experience with deep learning frameworks like Keras, TensorFlow, and PyTorch
• Familiarity with neural network architectures such as Yolo, U-Net, MobileNet, and ResNet
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)

Requirements

• At least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• At least 2 years of real-world experience in data science and computer vision projects
• Strong knowledge of Python
• Strong knowledge of classical algorithms and data structures
• Strong knowledge in linear algebra, geometry, calculus, probability theory, and statistics
• Experience with Machine Learning libraries like NumPy, Pandas, and ScikitLearn
• Practical experience with OpenCV
• Experience in solving computer vision tasks such as classification, detection, and segmentation
• Good knowledge and experience with at least one Deep Learning framework like Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
• Familiarity with neural network architectures such as Yolo, U-Net, MobileNet, and ResNet
• Strong knowledge of OOP
• Good written and spoken English

Nice to Have

• Active participation in Kaggle competitions
• Experience with Docker
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS
• Familiarity with NLP and Time Series forecasting
• Experience with OCR
• Practical experience with SQL and NoSQL
• Knowledge of neural network model optimization methods
