About the Position
Junior Дизайнер(-ка)
Join 8TAG, a social-first communication, production, and design studio, as a Junior Designer to work on visual design projects and collaborate with experienced colleagues.
About the Company
8TAG is a studio for social-first communication, production, and design for businesses. With a small but dedicated team of 25, we value each employee and only take on meaningful projects. Our successful collaborations include Lavina Mall, Bolt & Bolt Food, Brit, Артек-Буковель, Multiplex, Atlas Festival, and more.
Responsibilities
- Create visuals based on design systems and adapt them for various media
- Develop layouts, presentations, and template images
- Participate in large design projects in collaboration with more experienced colleagues
Requirements
- Understanding of basic design principles and composition
- Knowledge of color systems, principles of color usage and combination (difference between CMYK, RGB, and HEX)
- Proficiency in graphic editors and a wide range of tools (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma)
- Knowledge of typography: how fonts work in composition, types of fonts, rules for their use, and creating font pairs
- Understanding of the principles of creating visuals for social media and outdoor advertising, and their differences
- Knowledge of the technical specifications of layouts (difference between preparing layouts for screens and print)
- Understanding of brand books, guidelines, design systems, and adherence to them
- Knowledge of the principles of SMM and advertising
Format
- Full-time, 10:00-18:00 (Monday - Friday)
- Remote, but we welcome you to our office in Podil, Kyiv
