About the Position
Junior Engineer I, SMT Maintenance
We are seeking a dedicated Junior Engineer I, SMT Maintenance to join our team in Pune, Maharashtra, India. This role is integral to our manufacturing operations, focusing on the maintenance, monitoring, adjustment, and repair of SMT equipment to ensure production quality and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Maintenance and Repair: Maintain SMT equipment such as Screen Printer, SPI, Fuji-NXT, Reflow Oven, X-Ray machine, Bartector system, Auto insertion, Wave-Solder machine, Selective solder, and Conformal Coating machine.
- Quality Control: Regularly check print quality, placement quality, soldering quality, and conformal coating quality. Analyze SPI and X-ray defects to adjust process parameters.
- Preventive Maintenance: Implement all equipment preventive maintenance according to the PM schedule and procedure.
- 5S Management: Regularly check the 5S status of your responsible area, including power cable, internet wiring, pressed air pipe, and accessory equipment/tooling status.
- Daily Operations: Check daily production plans and actual production status to arrange your work effectively.
- Reporting: Complete daily reports and communicate quality issues and shift equipment status to the next shift owner.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement Poke yoke systems and line improvements. Provide feedback to engineers to improve efficiency and quality.
Requirements
- Education: Diploma in EEE / ECE / Diploma in mechanical.
- Experience: Three to Four years of relevant experience.
- Skills: Experience with MPM, FUJI, SPI, Heller, Teradyne is an added advantage.
- Attributes: Strong sense of responsibility, active attitude for study, and ability to perform any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
