Junior Event Manager

About the Position

We are looking for a Junior Event Manager to join our dynamic team at Solidgate in Ukraine. As a Junior Event Manager, you'll play a crucial role in creating memorable events and supporting our rapid growth across multiple countries.

Responsibilities

• Events: Participate in the full event lifecycle, from ideation to post-event debrief. Ensure Solidgate makes a great impression at conferences, partner gatherings, and industry events in Ukraine and abroad.
• Merch & Gifting: Lead merchandise production end-to-end, including design briefs, contractors, and budgets. Create welcome kits and gift sets that are practical, personal, and desirable.
• Budget & Ops: Build and track event budgets, ensuring solid planning and respect for numbers. Support multiple events simultaneously, ensuring every detail is executed perfectly.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience organizing events for students, youth centers, or volunteer initiatives.
• English proficiency at the Upper-Intermediate level or above.
• Experience organizing events abroad (exchange, volunteering, internships).
• Ability to plan and manage a small event budget without losing track of the numbers.
• Knowledge of good design and the ability to turn that into a brief a designer wants to work with.
• Ability to create merchandise and gifts that people genuinely want to keep, or eagerness to learn and grow into this.

Nice to Have

• Experience with event management software.
• Knowledge of marketing and promotional strategies.
