About the Position

Junior IT Specialist

We are looking for a Junior IT Specialist to join our dynamic team at ARRISE, a global leader in software development and services for the online gaming industry. As a Junior IT Specialist, you will provide day-to-day IT support and assist the IT team in maintaining hardware and software systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, and printers
• Perform device setup, re-imaging, and deployment of hardware equipment as required in a 24/7 operational environment
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic IT incidents and service requests
• Monitor IT systems and escalate complex issues to IT staff when necessary
• Support software installations, updates, and patch management activities
• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, support tickets (JIRA), and system documentation
• Participate in routine maintenance of networks, servers, and cloud-based services
• Follow company security policies and support cybersecurity best practices
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient technology support

Requirements

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Good knowledge of Linux operating systems (an advantage)
• Good knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and common business applications
• Good knowledge of networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and Wi-Fi (an advantage)
• Good knowledge of monitoring tools (an advantage)
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently or as part of a team

Nice to Have

• Technical support experience
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash, or Python)
