Junior Java Developer

About the Position

We are looking for a Junior Java Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and maintenance of Java-based applications aligned with business needs
• Collaborate with team members to implement new features and enhance existing functionality
• Participate in code reviews to learn best practices and uphold strong coding standards
• Take part in Agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, planning sessions, and retrospectives
• Continuously expand technical knowledge and apply new skills to real-world project tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field
• At least a year of relevant commercial experience in software development
• Hands-on experience with the Java programming language for building reliable server-side applications
• Practical knowledge of the Spring Boot framework, including MVC, for developing modern web applications
• Working experience with Python and libraries such as Pandas for data processing and analysis
• Familiarity with JavaScript, including Angular, Node.js, and TypeScript, for front-end and full-stack development
• Solid knowledge of HTML and CSS for structuring and styling web pages
• Experience with MySQL, Oracle, and other SQL databases for effective data management
• Understanding of continuous integration practices with Jenkins for automated builds and deployments
• Proficiency with Git for version control and collaborative code management
• Familiarity with SonarQube for code quality analysis and continuous inspection
• Practical experience with Jira for task management and workflow tracking
• Fluent English (B2 or higher), with excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong phone etiquette
