Junior Legal Counsel

About the Position

We are seeking a Junior Legal Counsel to join our international IT company, focusing on commercial contracts, intellectual property, and data privacy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Development, approval, and support of commercial contracts, corporate documentation, internal regulations, and company policies.
• Participation in the development of the legal department by implementing effective legal processes, standardizing document flow, automating routine tasks, and optimizing internal procedures.
• Ensuring the protection and defense of the company's intellectual property, including the support of trademark registration in the USA, EU, and other key jurisdictions, as well as copyright registration.
• Monitoring and analysis of foreign legislation, preparation of legal opinions and research on issues related to the company's activities.
• Providing legal support to other departments within the company's international operations, particularly in Europe, North America, and Asia.
• Interaction with counterparties, external legal consultants, government agencies, and providers of corporate and regulatory services in various jurisdictions.
• Support of personal data protection and privacy issues, including the development, review, and updating of Privacy Policies, Terms of Use, Cookie Policies, and other documentation related to data privacy compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in an international or leading law firm or experience in Big4 companies.
• Practical experience in preparing, analyzing, and approving commercial contracts in English.
• Experience with corporate documents, internal policies, and company regulations.
• Understanding of the basics of intellectual property law (trademarks, copyright, brand protection).
• Understanding of the principles of personal data protection and international privacy requirements (GDPR, CCPA, or similar regimes is a plus).
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Fluency in English (including the preparation of legal documents), international certificates such as IELTS/TOEFL are a plus.
