Junior Legal Counsel - Commercial

About the Position
We are hiring a Junior Legal Counsel - Commercial to join our Legal Commercial team in St. Julian's, Malta. Ensure company operations meet ethical, legal, and compliance standards.
Responsibilities
- Principal contact for day-to-day contractual reviews, negotiations, and drafting of commercial agreements and documents related to commercial matters.
- Checking terms of standard agreements against Company policy and terms of standard forms. Amendments to/extension of existing agreements.
- Management of renewal/extension dates and related negotiation timetable.
- Presentation of legal issues to management together with analysis, options, and recommendations.
- Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required.
Support the wider legal function on strategic or ad-hoc legal matters as required. The duties and responsibilities described in this job description are not a comprehensive list and as such additional tasks may be assigned to the employee from time to time. The scope of the job may also be subject to change as necessitated by business demand.
Requirements
- Possess a Doctor of Laws or a Master of Laws Degree.
- Good knowledge of corporate and commercial law.
- Very good command of English language.
- Ability to work independently and cooperate with different teams.
- Excellent analytical skills with the capacity of identifying all risks and proactively choosing the best solutions.
