About the Position
Junior Managers Program (Trainee) - Start your Leadership Journey in HR, Business & Strategy
Gerlingen, BW, Germany
Would you like to turn your ideas into useful and meaningful technologies? Whether in Mobility Solutions, Consumer Goods, Industrial Technology or Energy and Building Technology - with us you will improve the quality of life of people all over the world. Welcome to Bosch.
Shape the future of HR and Business with us! We are looking for master’s graduates with entrepreneurial thinking and a drive to make a difference, who want to take on responsibility and prepare for a career in HR or commercial management in our Junior Managers Program. Do you think business-mindedly, act with a people-oriented perspective, and want to develop sustainable solutions for Bosch? Then we want to hear from you.
Over an intensive 12 to 24-month journey, you will combine HR and commercial rotations in Germany and abroad, work on strategically relevant projects, and build a comprehensive understanding of how people, organization, and business success interact. Depending on your profile and development goals, you will gain insights into areas such as HR Strategy, Digitalization, HR Business Partnering, Talent Management, and Organizational Development, as well as Controlling, Finance, or Business Development. Your mission: connect business-driven decisions with a strong people perspective.
You won't just support-you will shape, decide, and take on responsibility. You will bring in your own ideas and experience firsthand how financial steering, transformation, and effective HR work interact. This way, you will develop a broad understanding of our business and purposefully prepare for your future career in commercial or HR management.
Responsibilities
- Learn how a global technology company is steered and how people strategy, finance, markets, processes, and organization collectively contribute to business success.
- Actively shape strategic and operational projects, for example in the areas of restructuring and M&A, employer branding, performance management, or digitalization.
- Take ownership of your own work packages or projects, prepare executive management decisions, and implement sustainable improvements together with international and local teams.
- Develop your personal career profile through deliberately combined HR and business rotations, regular feedback, and guidance from your personal executive-level mentor.
Requirements
- Outstanding full-time Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Industrial Engineering, Business Informatics, Human Resources Management, Business Psychology, or a related field of study.
- Initial practical experience in at least one of the fields of HR, Controlling, Finance, Purchasing, Sales, Strategy, or Business Development.
- Fluent in English (negotiation level) and ideally good German language skills.
- At least three months of international experience and openness to a rotation in an international environment.
Nice to Have
- MBA, PhD, or relevant work experience.
- Strong interest in people and organizational topics.
We Offer
- Mentoring & Sponsoring: An executive-level mentor will accompany you on your journey, actively support your development, and open doors for your next career steps with us.
- A culture of belonging: From day one, you will become part of a global community of trainees from diverse backgrounds and locations. Build authentic connections beyond formal projects through virtual hangouts, local meetups, or our (global) trainee summits.
- Flexible & hybrid working: We trust you to manage your work in a way that fits your life, with a flexible start date and a permanent employment contract. We offer a hybrid model that combines office and remote collaboration.
- Continuous learning: Benefit from up to 6 rotations across different departments, including an international rotation, supported by a generous budget for your professional development (courses, certifications, and conferences).
