Junior Murex Specialist

About the Position

We're seeking a Junior Murex Specialist with 1-2 years experience in financial markets/IT business analysis to join our team in Mexico City, providing support for the Murex platform.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Murex product on Trading or FO support/projects with clients
• Utilize FO experience on financial derivatives and Murex software to participate in implementation and upgrade projects through build and validation phases
• Provide high-quality support in using the Murex platform for market data management, pricing, and structuring of complex financial products within the trading domain (e.g., FX derivatives, interest rates derivatives, Fixed Income, etc.)
• Develop test cases to troubleshoot the system, document defective use cases for fixes by developers
• Support Murex integration and implementation efforts
• Support configuration and environment management efforts
• Support Murex Testing efforts

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in financial markets/IT business analysis
• 1 year experience in a Murex upgrade project
• Must have strong personality, logical, and analytical skills
• Be detailed-oriented, a quick learner, and self-starter
• Possess good verbal and written communication skills
• Must have strong organization skills
• Strong SQL, Unix, Scripting, Sybase, and Oracle skills (preferable)

Nice to Have

• 1-2 years of experience working with the Murex product on Trading or FO support/projects with clients
• Basic experience with support, environments, and other general Murex skills (Testing, MxML)
• Ability to utilize FO experience on financial derivatives and Murex software to participate in implementation and upgrade projects through build and validation phases
• Provide high-quality support in using the Murex platform for market data management, pricing, and structuring of complex financial products within the trading domain (e.g., FX derivatives, interest rates derivatives, Fixed Income, etc.)
• Develop test cases to troubleshoot the system, document defective use cases for fixes by developers
